Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly hopeful of leaving Juventus this summer to return to former club Real Madrid.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner won 15 trophies during his nine years at Madrid and is the Spanish giants' record goalscorer.
Ronaldo joined Juve in a big-money deal in July 2018 and won the Serie A title in his first two campaigns at the Allianz Stadium.
However, the reigning Italian champions are 10 points adrift of top spot this time around and exited the Champions League at the last-16 stage this week.
It is the third year running that the Bianconeri have been eliminated from the competition early on, leading to former Juve president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli to question why Ronaldo was ever signed.
Juventus could do with freeing up funds and Madrid are believed to be open to a reunion at the end of the campaign.
According to Spanish outlet AS, Ronaldo is eager to return to the Bernabeu and has already held talks with the club.
It is thought that a bid of €29m (£25m) will be enough to land the 36-year-old, who is under contract until the end of next season.
