Real Madrid are reportedly poised to launch a bid for Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea at the end of the season.
Los Blancos boss Jose Mourinho is on the lookout for a long-term replacement for Iker Casillas, after sensationally dropping the experienced stopper for last weekend's 3-2 defeat to Malaga.
According to The People, Mourinho and the Real board are in agreement that De Gea is the ideal candidate to succeed Casillas at the Bernabeu and the La Liga champions are willing to bid £20m for the 22-year-old in the summer.
De Gea moved to Old Trafford from Atletico Madrid for a fee of £18.9m in June 2011.
