Granada score a 92nd-minute equaliser to clinch a 2-2 draw against Real Sociedad in La Liga, moving four points clear of the relegation zone in the process.

Granada scored a 92nd-minute equaliser to secure a 2-2 draw with Champions League-chasing Real Sociedad in La Liga this evening.

The hosts took the lead after just nine minutes when Gonzalo Castro's cross found Imanol Agirretxe in the box, and the striker made no mistake with his close-range header.

Granada were level just six minutes later, however, when Youssef El-Arabi fired his shot into the bottom right corner after a quick break from the visitors.

Sociedad regained the lead right on the stroke of half time and again it was Agirretze who got the goal. Carlos Vela found the Spaniard with a cross, and he put his shot into the bottom right corner.

El-Arabi almost got a second of his own after the break, but his strike from close range went just wide of the right post.

Vela then came within inches of making it 3-1 when he fired at goal from inside the box, but his effort came back off the post.

Granada pushed for a late equaliser that would edge them four points clear of the relegation zone and finally found it through Recio's strike deep into second-half stoppage time.
