Wales play Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland play France in Euro 2016 last 16

The last-16 ties for Euro 2016 are revealed, with Wales and Northern Ireland meeting in an all-UK tie and hosts France facing the Republic of Ireland.

Wales have been drawn against Northern Ireland in the last 16 of Euro 2016, while England take on Iceland and the Republic of Ireland face France.

Martin O'Neill's side were minutes from being knocked out of the tournament, but a late Robbie Brady goal gave them a 1-0 win over Italy and edged them into the top four best third-placed sides.

Their reward for progressing through is a tie against hosts France, which will take place in Lyon on Sunday at 2pm BST.

The fixture is sure to bring back memories of Thierry Henry's handball-assisted goal against the Green Army in the 2010 World Cup playoffs, which ultimately cost the Irish a place in South Africa.

Group B leaders Wales, meanwhile, will contest an all-UK tie as they face Michael O'Neill's third-placed Northern Ireland in Paris on Saturday at 5pm BST.

England, runners-up behind Wales, will play surprise Group F runners-up Iceland in Nice on Monday at 8pm BST.
