Roma defender Antonio Rudiger has claimed that his new team have the capability of having a good season after their 1-1 draw against Barcelona in the Champions League.
The Serie A side earned a point against the reigning European champions after Alessandro Florenzi cancelled out Luis Suarez's opener with a 60-yard stunner.
The 22-year-old told Sky Sport Italia that he has been impressed with the quality of Roma since joining the club from Stuttgart in the summer.
The German said: "Florenzi scored an amazing goal, it was a perfect shot, I watched the ball fly the whole way until it reached the goal.
"I think Roma are a great team. I was always convinced that we would do well and I know that we will do well throughout the season."
Rudiger has played twice for the Italians this season and made his Champions League debut yesterday.
