Neil Redfearn: 'Signs are good for Rotherham United's relegation battle'

Neil Redfearn says that Rotherham United can avoid relegation from the Championship after they defeated Bristol City on Saturday afternoon.

Neil Redfearn has said that he is confident that Rotherham United can avoid relegation from the Championship.

The Millers defeated Bristol City 3-0 on Saturday to pick up their second successive victory.

"The first goal came at a good time. I thought after Jonson's first goal we really settled into it. They always looked under pressure," Redfearn told BBC Sport.

"When we went a goal up we didn't have to chase the game. We had a good shape to us and broke quite well on them but we kept a high line at the back which was important.

"It's a couple of wins but it's a long old season. The signs are good. When there's nothing in games, like Leeds last week, we look mentally tough as a group."

Rotherham are now just one point off safety in the Championship table.
