Braces from Junior Hoilett and Charlie Austin helped Queens Park Rangers to a 4-0 victory over Shamrock Rovers in a pre-season friendly at Tallaght Stadium.
Shamrock Rovers caretaker manager John Gill was in the dugout for the home side, due to Trevor Croly's contract having been terminated earlier in the day.
Hoilett scored his second goal in two games on 15 minutes, after Alejandro Faurlin's through ball allowed the winger to slot home from close range.
Rangers doubled their lead just over 15 minutes later when Joey Barton's corner was bulleted home by Austin.
Despite chances falling to both sides in the second half, neither team managed to capitalise and it looked as though the game was headed for a 2-0 finish.
However, Hoilett managed to get his name on the scoresheet for a second time with a precise strike that bent into the bottom corner, and Austin's towering header completed the rout.
QPR will face Athlone Town on Tuesday in what will be their final game of their Ireland tour.
