Sheffield Wednesday have been boosted by the news that young forward Caolan Lavery is back in training.
The 22-year-old Northern Irishman suffered a serious knee injury during pre-season so is yet to feature for the Owls in 2014-15.
Lavery said that he wanted to "make up for lost time and regain that sharpness" in a recent interview with the club website.
"I'm buzzing to be back training with the lads," he said. "It's been a long road but I'm back out on the pitch and it feels good.
"I've received a lot of positive tweets from supporters. I look through them all and they have really helped, so I would like to thank everyone for that."
Lavery scored four goals in 18 appearances for Wednesday in the second half of last season.
