Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin will reportedly today learn the extent of a knee injury that he suffered during Saturday's match against Tottenham.

Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin is reportedly due to undergo a scan on his left knee after suffering an injury during Saturday's match against Tottenham Hotspur.

The Frenchman was substituted towards the end of the match, which resulted in a 2-2 draw after the Saints led twice.

According to the Daily Echo, Schneiderlin, who left St Mary's with his knee in a brace, is likely to discover the extent of his injury after undergoing scans today.

Ronald Koeman's side are still fighting for a European spot as they reside one point behind fifth-placed Liverpool in the Premier League table.
