Pablo Osvaldo charged by Football Association

Southampton forward Pablo Osvaldo is charged with violent conduct by the FA.

Southampton forward Pablo Osvaldo has been charged with violent conduct by the Football Association following his side's recent fixture against Newcastle United.

Osvaldo was among a number of players and staff from both teams who were involved in an altercation during the match at St James' Park on December 14.

Meanwhile, Newcastle coach Andy Woodman has been hit with an improper conduct charge for his part in the incident.

Both men have until December 23 to respond to their respective charges.

Neither club will face any charges.
