Southampton manager Nigel Adkins has insisted that defender Luke Shaw is not for sale.
The 17-year-old has impressed for the Saints since breaking into the first team this season, and has been linked with a move to Arsenal.
However, following his side's 1-1 draw with the Gunners on Tuesday, Adkins issued a hands-off warning to any clubs who are interested in signing the left-back.
"We've got no desire to let him go," Adkins told talkSPORT.
"He's under contract here.
"I wish all the best for anyone wanting to negotiate with the chairman [because he's a tricky customer]. Luke's one of our players, we want him to come through and play consistently for us, not to sell him."
Shaw has represented England at Under-16 and Under-17 levels.
