Report: Morgan Schneiderlin returns to Southampton training

A report claims that Morgan Schneiderlin has today trained with Southampton amid earlier rumours that he had handed in a transfer request.

Morgan Schneiderlin has reportedly trained with Southampton today, despite talk suggesting that he had handed in a transfer request on Wednesday.

The 24-year-old, who has been repeatedly linked with a move from St Mary's this summer, is said to have been left unhappy after being told that he would not be allowed to leave.

Sky Sports News claims that Schniederlin handed in a transfer request yesterday, but still met up with the team today amid talk that he would refuse to train with the club.

The Saints have already seen a number of players leave during this transfer window, including England trio Rickie Lambert, Luke Shaw and Adam Lallana.
