Southampton pair close to Tottenham Hotspur move?

A report claims that Tottenham Hotspur are looking to sign Morgan Schneiderlin and Jay Rodriguez from fellow Premier League side Southampton.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly on the verge of signing Morgan Schneiderlin and Jay Rodriguez from Southampton.

In recent weeks the pair have been strongly linked with switches to the North Londoners, who are managed by former Saints boss Mauricio Pochettino.

Discussions between the two clubs have taken place and an agreement over fees for the duo have been reached, with personal terms and medicals now left to conclude, according to PA Sport.

Should the moves go through, they will become the 11th and 12th players to depart the St Mary's Stadium this summer, the latest of which was Calum Chambers, who joined Tottenham's rivals Arsenal earlier today.
