Laurent Blanc has no complaints

France manager Laurent Blanc has said that Spain are deserving of their place in the last four of Euro 2012 and his side are not.

France manager Laurent Blanc believes that his side lost to a better team following their 2-0 defeat to Spain in Donetsk.

A Xabi Alonso double sent the defending champions through the the last four at Euro 2012 and Blanc thinks the result was fair.

He said: "Is a quarter-final France's level at the moment? I don't know.

"What I do know is that the best sides will be in the semi-finals, and France won't be."

Blanc is currently the bookmakers' second favourite to become the next manager of Tottenham Hotspur.
