Victor Valdes could start in goal for Spain against Tahiti this evening.

Spain coach Vicente del Bosque has hinted that Victor Valdes will start in goal for tonight's Confederations Cup clash with Tahiti.

The 62-year-old will take the opportunity to pass the gloves around having won their first match in Group B against Uruguay.

However, Liverpool's Pepe Reina is also in the squad and could be given his 28th cap.

Del Bosque also said that there will be further changes as he looks to give everyone a chance.

"One of the changes will be in goal," Del Bosque told reporters. "There will also be a few new faces in the rest of the squad. It's the chance for those who haven't played yet.

"All those that said that Valdes would have a negative effect on the changing room were wrong. He's a good lad, and he's shown it."

Iker Casillas started in goal against Uruguay.
