Spain midfielder Isco has admitted that he was surprised by his side's dominant performance in the European Under-21 Championship.
The Spaniards beat Italy 4-2 in the final on Tuesday as Barcelona midfielder Thiago Alcantara scored a first half hat-trick, while the Malaga forward netted a penalty in the victory.
"The most important thing is to win the championship. It's a wonder how strong we have been in this tournament. We are very happy," Isco told AS.
Isco has been linked with a move to join up with Manuel Pellegrini at Manchester City this summer.
