Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino has admitted that his side must be more clinical in the final third when they face Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday night.
Spurs have netted just eight goals in their last eight fixtures, and Pochettino has acknowledged that his players must do better in front of goal if they want to achieve their targets this season.
The 44-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "We are creating the same chances as before, but it's true that our percentage was poor in front of goal.
"We need to be more clinical in our offensive situation. We need to be determined and aggressive in the last third.
"It'll be tough but we are conscious that we need to take the three points if we want to go to the next round."
Spurs currently sit in second position in Group E, just a point ahead of their opponents at Wembley Stadium.
