Jermain Defoe plays his last game for Tottenham Hotspur after being ruled out of Thursday's Europa League clash against Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk.

Jermain Defoe has played his last game for Tottenham Hotspur after being ruled out of Thursday's Europa League clash against Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk.

The 31-year-old striker is due to join MLS side Toronto FC on February 28.

However, manager Tim Sherwood has revealed that the England international will be at White Hart Lane for the match to say goodbye to the club and its supporters.

Spurs host Dnipro for the second leg of their last-32 tie looking to overturn a 1-0 deficit.
