Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas admits that he is disappointed with his side's defensive display during Wednesday's 2-1 defeat to Norwich in the Capital One Cup.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has told his players that they "must do better" following Wednesday's late defeat to Norwich City in the Capital One Cup.

Spurs had led at Carrow Road through Gareth Bale's 66th-minute strike, but they conceded twice in the final stages to miss out on a quarter-final spot.

"It's a pity to see the game slip from our hands and we're disappointed," said Villas-Boas. "When it comes to conceding late goals we have to do better: it's something in our mind and we are working on it."

Tottenham continue their Premier League campaign on Saturday when they welcome Wigan Athletic at White Hart Lane.
