Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor could be available for Saturday's Premier League visit of Newcastle United.

Emmanuel Adebayor could return to the Tottenham Hotspur side for Saturday's Premier League visit of Newcastle United.

Despite Togo's elimination from the Africa Cup of Nations last weekend, Adebayor and his international teammates will remain in South Africa until Friday due to a transport issue.

However, the 28-year-old could go straight into the Spurs starting lineup the following day for their match against the Magpies at White Hart Lane, according to The Mirror.

Adebayor has scored three goals in 19 appearances for Tottenham this season.
