Stan Collymore says that Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane is developing into a player good enough for Real Madrid.

Former Liverpool striker Stan Collymore has suggested that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is good enough to join Real Madrid.

The England international has been in impressive form of late, scoring 11 goals in all competitions for Spurs during September.

Rumours have been rumbling that Zinedine Zidane is interested in taking Kane to the Bernabeu, but recent reports have claimed that Tottenham will not entertain any bids below £200m.

In his column for The Mirror, Collymore wrote: "The more I see of Harry Kane, the more I'm starting to believe he could end up at a club such as Real Madrid.

"He's answering every question that is being asked of him and he's growing as a player. If he continues on this trajectory there's no reason why he couldn't play for any team on the planet."

All eyes will be on Kane when Tottenham go head to head with Madrid in this evening's Champions League game.
