Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane talks up the importance of Harry Kane to Tottenham Hotspur ahead of their Champions League clash at the Bernabeu.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has talked up the importance of Harry Kane to Tottenham Hotspur ahead of their Champions League clash at the Bernabeu on Tuesday.

Kane has been in fine form so far this season with 15 goals for club and country since the start of September, and his performances have seen him linked with a big-money move to the Spanish capital.

Zidane refused to comment on speculation regarding Madrid's interest in Kane, but confirmed that he is a fan of the clinical striker and does not believe that there are any weaknesses in his game.

"I don't know what will happen in the future. In the present, I know what he's doing, he's very important player, a key player for Tottenham, very good at everything but he always does it all towards the goal," he told reporters.

"He does not stay [still], he takes the space with speed and he's very good. He's a complete player. He didn't seem to be but in the end he is. We know he's a really good player and things are going well for him. But Tottenham are not just Kane.

"Tottenham has always been a great club but it is constantly moving. This team is improving and the coach has done a great job. It will be a good game and we will prepare well. It will be a good match for anyone who likes football and we hope to get three points."

Kane has scored five goals in his side's two Champions League fixtures so far this season.
