Christian Eriksen has insisted that he made the right choice by joining Tottenham Hotspur from Ajax during the summer transfer window.
The Danish international midfielder was linked with a number of clubs before Spurs showed concrete interest in his services.
"There were not that many clubs to choose from in the end and no one were closer than Tottenham," Eriksen told Scandinavian newspaper BT. "There were a lot of rumours, but I only felt right about the approach from Tottenham. The club followed me for a long time and really showed intent."
Eriksen is understood to have arrived at White Hart Lane for a fee of around £11.5m.
