Nabil Bentaleb delighted to be back

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Nabil Bentaleb reveals his determination to find his best form after returning from injury.

Nabil Bentaleb has revealed his determination to regain his best form after returning to the Tottenham Hotspur squad.

The Algerian had been absent since August due to an ankle injury before making his comeback as a substitute in Thursday's 4-1 victory over AS Monaco in the Europa League.

After watching Eric Dier, Dele Alli and Moussa Dembele impress in midfield during his spell out of action, Bentaleb admits that it is exciting to be working with the squad again.

"It feels great," he told the club's website. "I was out for a long time and it's never easy when you're away from the football pitch for that length of time, but I'm glad that I'm back now.

"I had to get my head around it sometimes. I tried to come back three times and all three times I had to pull back from training but thankfully I worked really well with the medical department, I listened to their advice and now that's paid off because I'm back on the pitch. I'm feeling 100% now and I'm very glad about that."
