Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola admits that his side were "so good" in the club's 3-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley Stadium in the Premier League.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has heaped praise on his side as the Citizens edged closer towards Premier League glory courtesy of a 3-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur this evening.

The Sky Blues moved to within just three points of being crowned top-flight champions, after goals from Gabriel Jesus, Ilkay Gundogan and Raheem Sterling gave City an emphatic win at Wembley Stadium.

"After 15 minutes I said we'd be champions, after what happened and we reacted," Guardiola told Sky Sports News.

"These guys are fantastic and awesome. What's happened in the last week is so unfair. We have a second chance against Swansea and we're going to try and be champions.

"Today, we've done it many many times and that's why we're in the position we are. I am so so glad to be here and be part of the club. It was so good. The performance was so good."

City could win the title as early as tomorrow should Manchester United suffer defeat when they welcome West Bromwich Albion to Old Trafford.
