Tottenham Hotspur are desperately trying to keep hold of manager Harry Redknapp by reportedly offering the 65-year-old a new four-year deal and a promised £50m for transfers in the summer.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is believed to be frustrated with the constant speculation surrounding the former Portsmouth boss, who is the overwhelming favourite to become England's new manager.
In an attempt to warn off the Football Association, Tottenham have hatched out a four-year contract with an increase in Redknapp's current £3m-a-year salary, according to the London Evening Standard.
Reports have claimed that Spurs are willing to offer up the cash in order for Redknapp to buy the likes of Lille's Eden Hazard and long sought-after target Loic Remy.
It is thought that the FA are yet to approach Redknapp regarding the England role, which was left by Fabio Capello last month.
