Report: West Bromwich Albion to hold Saido Berahino talks

West Bromwich Albion will reportedly hold talks with striker Saido Berahino after the transfer saga involving him and Tottenham Hotspur.

West Bromwich Albion will reportedly hold talks with striker Saido Berahino after Tottenham Hotspur failed to sign him during the summer.

The 22-year-old striker claimed that he will never play for the Baggies again while Jeremy Peace remains chairman, after he turned down multiple bids from Spurs on the final day of the window.

According to BBC Sport, Berahino will meet with head coach Tony Pulis and other senior figures on Friday and will be fined for the comments that he made on Twitter.

Peace accused Spurs of unsettling the frontman by trying to negotiate a cheaper price for him.

Berahino made his West Brom debut in 2010.
