Gedson Fernandes is on the bench as Tottenham Hotspur face Watford in Saturday afternoon's Premier League clash at Vicarage Road.

Gedson Fernandes has been named on the bench as Tottenham Hotspur face Watford in Saturday afternoon's Premier League clash at Vicarage Road.

The recent arrival from Benfica is named among the away side's substitutes, but Giovani Lo Celso and Erik Lamela are both in the side following their impressive displays against Middlesbrough in the FA Cup.

Harry Kane's absence means that Lucas Moura will again start in the final third of the field, while Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen line up in the heart of the defence.

Christian Eriksen, though, is again on the bench amid the speculation surrounding his future.

Watford, meanwhile, are unchanged from last weekend's 3-0 win over Bournemouth meaning that Gerard Deulofeu and Ismaila Sarr will support Troy Deeney.

Christian Kabasele is available once again following suspension but is named on the bench.

WATFORD: Foster; Mariappa, Dawson, Cathcart, Masina; Capoue, Chalobah; Sarr, Doukoure, Deulofeu; Deeney

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR: Gazzaniga; Aurier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Tanganga; Winks, Lo Celso, Alli; Lamela, Lucas, Son
