Tottenham Hotspur assistant Cristian Stellini reveals that Richarlison and Lucas Moura are both available for Sunday's Premier League clash with Manchester City.

Tottenham Hotspur duo Richarlison and Lucas Moura are both available for Sunday's Premier League clash with reigning champions Manchester City.

Richarlison was forced to miss last weekend's FA Cup fourth-round win over Preston North End due to an adductor strain, which was not thought to be serious.

In the Brazilian's absence, Son Heung-min netted twice alongside a third from debutant Arnaut Danjuma in a 3-0 win, where Harry Kane was only on the bench due to illness.

The Lilywhites have also been forced to work around the absence of Lucas Moura for much of the season, with the 30-year-old struggling to fully recover from a troublesome tendon issue.

Lucas - who will leave Tottenham when his contract expires at the end of the season - has missed each of Spurs' six Premier League games since the World Cup, playing just 12 matches in all tournaments this term and scoring one goal.

However, speaking to reporters at Friday's pre-game press conference, assistant manager Cristian Stellini revealed that both players could face Man City, saying: "Yes we have Richarlison had a small problem and now he is available. He has been training this week and he is available," as quoted by football.london.

"No, no [new] injuries. We recover also Lucas and we are happy to say that because Lucas has been training this week. He played 45 minutes with the young team and is back."

Should Pape Sarr also shake off a hip injury, Tottenham could be working with a fully-fit squad against Man City, where Stellini will take charge as Antonio Conte recovers from surgery.

The 53-year-old underwent an operation to remove his gallbladder on Wednesday, having experienced "severe abdominal pain" following Spurs' FA Cup victory over Preston.

Conte's surgery in his native Italy was a success, and there have been suggestions that the Tottenham boss could fly back to the UK to watch Sunday's game from the director's box.

Stellini has remained tight-lipped on the prospect of Conte returning for the match, though, adding: "We don't know yet when he is coming back. The surgery was good. He's recovering well at home [in Italy]. We have two days before the game and anything can happen.

"The decision will be made tomorrow. We are ready to do everything and Antonio probably the doctor who did the surgery they have to decide for him. We have 48 hours, two days to decide."

Following Danjuma's successful debut at Preston, Sunday's game could see Pedro Porro make his first appearance in a Tottenham shirt following his deadline-day arrival from Sporting Lisbon.

Porro was on the books at Man City between 2019 and 2022, but he left permanently last summer having failed to make a single appearance, spending the 2019-20 season with Real Valladolid before an initial two-year loan with Sporting.

The Spaniard will compete with Emerson Royal for starts on the right following Djed Spence and Matt Doherty's January exits, and Stellini has hinted that Porro could line up from the first whistle on Sunday.

"Could be. He is young but he has great experience. He plays in a similar system we play and he is available. We can use him in two days. We have another training session, he can improve but he is a great player, he's good technically and we were impressed by his performance against us," Stellini added.

Tottenham sit fifth in the Premier League table with 36 points from 21 games - three worse off than Manchester United and Newcastle United, both of whom have a game in hand.
