Tottenham Hotspur target Franck Kessie reportedly intends to remain at AC Milan for the remainder of the season.
With less than six months remaining on his contract, the Ivory Coast international is in a position where he can negotiate a future transfer with foreign clubs.
Spurs have been alleged to be one of the frontrunners for a number of weeks, Antonio Conte preferably wanting to get a deal over the line in January.
However, according to Calciomercato, the 25-year-old wants to see out the season at San Siro, helping Milan try to end their wait for a Serie A title.
The report suggests that the two clubs had been able to agree a cut-price fee before Kessie opted to reject the advances of the Premier League side.
Kessie has scored five times from 16 league appearances this season for Milan, who sit four points adrift of leaders Inter Milan.
