Liverpool are reportedly ready to try to sign Nantes attacker Randal Kolo Muani in the last knockings of the January transfer window.
The 23-year-old is free to enter discussions with foreign clubs after entering the final six months of his Canaris deal, and an extension is not thought to be in the offing.
Having netted seven goals and set up three more for Antoine Kombouare's side in the 2021-22 Ligue 1 season, Kolo Muani's form has supposedly attracted interest from the likes of Tottenham Hotspur.
However, German outlet Bild claims that Jurgen Klopp wants Liverpool to make a late push for the forward in January, and a fee of £7m could seal the deal.
Liverpool are not alone in the hunt for Kolo Muani's signature, though, with Marseille, AC Milan and Eintracht Frankfurt also thought to be keeping a close eye on developments.
Muani - who played three games for France at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics - has banked a total of 17 goals and 12 assists in 67 games for Nantes since coming through their youth academy.
