Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Harry Winks will reportedly be rewarded with a new £40,000-a-week deal following his exploits for England over the last week.
The 21-year-old earned plaudits for his performance in the Three Lions' 1-0 victory in Slovenia on Sunday - his first international start - and is now in the frame to feature in the squad travelling to the World Cup next summer.
According to The Sun, Spurs will act quickly to tie the youngster down to fresh terms and double the weekly wage he agreed when penning a five-year deal earlier this year.
The newspaper claims that Mauricio Pochettino's side are "aware his current deal is not a reflection of his new-found status with club and country" and are hopeful that talks "will be easy to conclude".
A product of the Spurs academy system, Winks made his Premier League debut last season and has featured in five of his side's seven league games so far this term.
