Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Josh Onomah joins Sheffield Wednesday on loan

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Josh Onomah joins Championship side Sheffield Wednesday on loan for the 2018-19 season.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Josh Onomah has joined Sheffield Wednesday on a season-long loan deal.

Onomah spent last season on loan at Aston Villa, scoring four goals in 37 appearances across all competitions as the Villans narrowly missed out on promotion back to the Premier League.

The 21-year-old will now leave Spurs for a second successive season, having agreed to once again drop down to the Championship with Sheffield Wednesday for the entirety of the 2018-19 campaign.

Onomah could make his debut for Wednesday during Saturday's Championship clash with Reading at the Madejski.
