Florentino Perez has reportedly devised a back-up plan in case Real Madrid miss out on top midfield targets Paul Pogba and Christian Eriksen, with Napoli's Fabian Ruiz being targeted.
Los Blancos have already splashed out around £300m this summer on Eden Hazard, Ferland Mendy, Luka Jovic and Eder Militao.
Madrid are expected to have one more big signing in them, though, and Manchester United's Pogba and Eriksen of Tottenham Hotspur have both been strongly linked.
