Real Madrid are reportedly preparing an £85m offer for Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale.
The Spanish giants have been constantly linked with a swoop for the Wales international, and while it has been suggested that the winger will remain at White Hart Lane, it is believed that Madrid have not given up on their pursuit.
Madrid will launch the big-money bid for the prolific player before the close of the summer transfer window, according to El Confidencial.
Reports have claimed that Premier League champions Manchester United could also lodge a bid for Bale.
