Real Madrid will reportedly look to sell before they try to buy Christian Eriksen from Tottenham Hotspur.
Eriksen made his desire to leave Spurs very apparent in the summer but a move never materialised, leaving the midfielder in limbo.
The player has just one year left on his contract and is running it down, meaning that he could be available for a cut-price fee in January as Spurs try to avoid losing the 27-year-old for nothing.
