Paris Saint-Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly pushing for his side to complete a deal for Tottenham Hotspur's Tanguy Ndombele.
The 25-year-old has failed to make his mark in North London since arriving in the summer of 2019 and is widely expected to leave the club at some point this year.
PSG are thought to be in talks with Tottenham over a loan deal for the unsettled Ndombele, with Julian Draxler and Georginio Wijnaldum allegedly happy to move in the opposite direction.
Pochettino refused to comment on links with Ndombele during a recent press conference, but RMC Sport claims that the former Lilywhites boss is desperate to conclude a deal for the former Lyon man this month.
The report adds that Pochettino is an admirer of Ndombele's 'profile', and he has informed the PSG hierarchy of his desire to have the midfielder available for the Champions League last-16 battles with Real Madrid.
Ndombele was a regular fixture of Nuno Espirito Santo's Tottenham side but has been left out of Antonio Conte's squad for the Lilywhites' last two Premier League matches.
The seven-cap France international boasts a total of 10 goals and nine assists in 91 appearances for Spurs and is under contract in North London until 2025.
