Mauricio Pochettino: 'Eric Dier, Dele Alli not leaving Tottenham Hotspur'

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino insists that England midfielders Eric Dier and Dele Alli are not for sale at any price.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has reiterated that Eric Dier and Dele Alli are not for sale at any price.

Dier has failed to hold down a first-team spot this season, leading to reports linking him with a move away from White Hart Lane.

Meanwhile, Alli has been linked to some of Europe's leading clubs in the last fortnight, including Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Premier League rivals Manchester City.

However, Pochettino insists that both players will remain at the North London club as they aim to build on last season's third-place league finish.

"It makes no sense because it is impossible for anyone to sign them," the Argentine told Sky Sports News.

"They are players who are in our plans today, tomorrow and for the future.

"We are very calm because they all extended their contracts four or five months ago. There are plenty of pictures."

Dier and Alli signed long-term contracts with the club in September, the Sporting Lisbon academy product penning a five-year deal and the ex-MK Dons man committing to a new six-year contract.
