Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino suggests that he is considering signing new players during the January transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that he is considering his options ahead of the January transfer window.

Pochettino boasts a strong first-team squad which could be further boosted by the return of both Victor Wanyama and Toby Alderweireld in the coming weeks.

However, the Argentine has suggested that he will wait to see if the right players becomes available at the start of 2018 before finalising his plans.

The 45-year-old told reporters: "It is so difficult to try and find the player to come in and help you but maybe.

"It's an option. In and out, you know, because for different reasons it happens because a player arrives because he is available."

Spurs currently sit in seventh place in the Premier League table, three points adrift of fourth-placed Liverpool.
