Harry Redknapp: 'No way Tottenham Hotspur will pull out of Gareth Bale sale'

Harry Redknapp says that there is "no way" that Tottenham Hotspur will pull out of the deal to sell Gareth Bale to Real Madrid.

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp believes that Gareth Bale's move from Tottenham Hotspur to Real Madrid is a "certainty".

The Wales international has been at the centre of long-running negotiations between the two parties over an alleged world-record £85m deal.

While some reports have claimed that it is only a matter of time before Bale is announced as a Madrid player, there were suggestions that Spurs would block the deal if they fail to sign Willian.

However, Redknapp believes that there is "no way" that Spurs will walk away from the deal as they have already spent a large amount of funds on players, including Roberto Soldado.

"That's a certainty to happen," Redknapp told talkSPORT. "Now they've spent all that money there's no way they'll pull the plug on that deal. And the boy wants to go. We all know that for a fact."

Last night, Madrid's official online shop began selling number 11 Bale shirts.
