Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly ready to break their transfer record to sign Valencia striker Roberto Soldado.
Despite Los Che missing out on Champions League football next season, Soldado scored 24 goals as they eventually finished fifth in La Liga.
Soldado's fine form has persuaded Spurs chairman Daniel Levy to sanction a £20m bid for the Spaniard, according to the Daily Mail.
The 28-year-old will be part of the Spain squad that will play in the Confederations Cup later this month.
