Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly emerged as the frontrunners to sign Queens Park Rangers midfielder Eberechi Eze.
The 21-year-old has starred in the Championship this season, contributing 12 goals and eight assists from 37 appearances.
With just over a year remaining on his contract, the Nigerian is attracting interest from the Premier League, including from Spurs.
However, according to The Sun, Sheffield United and Crystal Palace have opted to withdraw from the race to sign the playmaker.
The report suggests that the Blades and Eagles were put off by QPR setting an asking price of £20m.
Spurs must now decide whether they want to press ahead with a deal for Eze, who is likely to attract more admirers once football returns after the coronavirus outbreak.
