Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho will reportedly see his transfer budget slashed as a result of the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.
Earlier this week, it was announced that Spurs had reduced the wages of 550 non-playing staff by 20% in response to the pandemic, with chairman Daniel Levy among those to take a pay cut.
According to the Daily Mail, a lack of income during the global crisis means that Spurs will have to sacrifice a portion of Mourinho's transfer budget.
The report also claims that the Lilywhites will struggle to secure a profitable naming rights deal for their new stadium due to the viral outbreak, which would supposedly be in excess of £300m.
Mourinho's side sit eighth in the table amid the postponement, with elite-level football in England not set to resume until April 30 at the earliest.
