Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly offered midfielder Giovani Lo Celso to Fiorentina in their efforts to sign Sofyan Amrabat from the Italian outfit.
After missing out on Adama Traore from Wolverhampton Wanderers and Luis Diaz from Porto, the North London club have now turned their attentions to the Moroccan midfielder.
In their attempts to persuade Fiorentina to sell the 25-year-old, Spurs have offered Lo Celso as part of an exchange deal that would see the Argentine move in the other direction, according to Alfredo Pedulla.
Beginning his career in the Netherlands with FC Utrecht and Feyenoord, Amrabat has since represented Club Brugge and Hellas Verona before making the move to Florence.
However, the report does state that I Viola have rejected Tottenham's offer due to holding no interest in Lo Celso, and that no deal has yet been agreed between the two clubs.
Lo Celso's Spurs career continues to stall under Antonio Conte, and the Italian boss is keen to offload the Argentina international, after only selecting him to feature in nine Premier League appearances so far this season, of which only two have been starts.
