Tottenham Hotspur reportedly join Premier League rivals Everton in adding Borussia Monchengladbach's Denis Zakaria to their transfer wishlist.

Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria has emerged as a transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur, according to a report.

The 21-year-old, who represented Switzerland at this summer's World Cup, is also rumoured to be on the radar of Marco Silva at Everton.

Mauricio Pochettino intends to rival Silva for the £36m-rated ace, as reports in Switzerland suggest that the Premier League sides will go head to head for his signature.

Deep-lying midfielder Zakaria has only spent the past 12 months at Gladbach, having joined from Young Boys for less than £9m on a five-year deal last summer.

Tottenham are also understood to be eyeing up a move for Jack Grealish, with £20m being set aside for the Aston Villa youngster.
