Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic is reportedly on Barcelona's radar, as the Spanish champions have joined Tottenham Hotspur in the race for the 23-year-old.
Pjanic has been linked with the North London club this summer, as manager Andre Villas-Boas lines up replacements for Gareth Bale, who was the subject of a reported £85m bid from Real Madrid.
However, The Express reports that Barcelona have entered the race for the Bosnian international, and that the player would prefer a move to the Catalan club.
Pjanic said earlier this month that he is happy in Rome, but in a previous interview he had stated that a move to Barcelona or Real Madrid may be too good to turn down.
Pjanic scored four goals in 28 appearances last season for Roma.
