Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama is reportedly stalling on signing a new contract at St Mary's as he holds out for a summer move to Tottenham Hotspur.
The 24-year-old, who will be out of contract at his current club at the end of next season, was strongly linked with Spurs last summer, but Southampton managed to fight off the interest in one of their key assets.
According to The Mirror, Wanyama has been offered a new five-year contact by the Saints, but the midfielder is currently stalling as he hopes that Spurs will re-ignite their interest at the end of the season.
The Kenya international joined Southampton from Celtic in the summer of 2013 and is fast closing in on 100 appearances for his Premier League club.
