Hugo Lloris focused on successful group stage campaign

Hugo Lloris insists that France are only concentrating on making it out of Group E ahead of their World Cup campaign.

Hugo Lloris has insisted that France are not looking past the group stages ahead of their World Cup campaign.

The 27-year-old believes that anything is possible if they can reach the second round of the tournament in Brazil, but Lloris is aware that it is important to not become complacent.

"I think the first goal is to go through from the group stage," the Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper told the club's official website. "After that it's the last 16 and it's effectively another tournament because you play only one game so it's very open and anything could happen.

"But before that we have to be focussed on our preparations. We have to work hard in the remaining friendly game and after that try to have a good competition."

France will meet Ecuador, Switzerland and Honduras in Group E.
