Mark Hughes: 'Stoke City summer spending complete'

Stoke manager Mark Hughes says that he is 'not expecting anything more' this summer in terms of new transfers following his side's opening-day defeat to Aston Villa.

Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has admitted that he does not intend to delve back into the transfer market this summer.

The Potters completed the loan signing of Victor Moses from Chelsea earlier today before their 1-0 defeat against Aston Villa.

"We don't expect to do anything more," Sky Sports News quotes Hughes as saying. "It's a case of working with the group that we have got.

"Victor's a good young player and hasn't had many opportunities in the past couple of years. He's got pace and he's got power, and that's what we need."

Stoke are back in action next weekend when they take on Hull City.
