Stoke City manager Tony Pulis is reportedly looking to bring in Alex Baptiste from Blackpool.

Stoke City are lining up a bid to sign Alex Baptiste from Blackpool, according to Goal.com.

Pulis is reportedly looking to add to his defence in the wake of the 4-0 defeat by Chelsea on Saturday afternoon and could be looking at Championship options.

Baptiste, who has played 154 league games for Blackpool since signing from Mansfield in 2008, is out of contract at the end of the season.

Only three teams have conceded fewer goals than Stoke this season in the Premier League and they also have the joint-highest clean-sheets with nine.
